After much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to retire my British Shorthair breeding program. This means that after the three remaining litters of 2025, there will no longer be British Shorthair kittens available for adoption.

It has been an absolute privilege and joy to work with this incredible breed over the past 25 years. British Shorthairs have brought so much happiness and love into my life, and they will always have a special place in my heart. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you—families who have welcomed my kittens into your homes. Your continued support and love for them have meant the world to me.

Please feel free to continue sending updates and pictures of your kittens; I always love to see how they’re doing. And as always, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

Thank you once again for being a part of this journey. I will cherish the memories and the wonderful connections we’ve made over the years.

Warmly, Suzanne Henne DVM

Our Parents

The health and well-being of our cats and their offspring is very important to us. Being a veterinarian I screen all of our parents prior to breeding for any type of health problem.

Health First

We have a regular vaccine and deworming program that every cat is on. Our kittens will get their first vaccination and deworming before being placed into your home. We offer a comprehensive health guarantee with each kitten that we place, as detailed in our sales contract. Each kitten will come with a goodie bag that will include food sample, and a traveling blanket and toy if you pick them up. In keeping with our cattery policy, all “pet-quality” kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving our cattery. This not only helps with doing our part against the growing pet overpopulation problem and to prevent irresponsible breeding, but it also make the transition to your home easier on our kittens.

Our British Shorthair kittens will be able to join their new family at a minimum age of 12 weeks providing they are ready.

As a responsible breeders, we take care in the selection of suitable homes for our babies. Potential kitten buyers should be caring, loving and responsible. We will help answer any questions or concerns you have about the breed. Potential buyers must be able to provide a safe, clean indoor environment where their kitten will be loved and properly cared for. Proper care should include regular grooming and veterinary care.
